This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you use the Glow Up app. It also outlines your rights under applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and rules related to minors.

Account Information: Name, email address, password, and optionally, your age or date of birth

Facial Images and Visual Data: Photos you upload to try makeup looks, along with face mapping and feature detection data (processed by our AI engine)

Makeup Preferences: Style choices, skin tone settings, favorite looks, saved creations

Usage Information: Features used, session duration, interaction patterns, saved history

Device Information: Device type, OS version, IP address, screen resolution, and unique identifiers

Crash Logs and Diagnostics: Technical logs to diagnose performance and stability issues

Children’s Data (if applicable): Limited data may be collected from minors only with verified parental consent. No facial data or image uploads are stored for minors under 13 in compliance with COPPA.


2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

• Provide personalized makeup simulations and suggestions
• Process facial features for AI-powered try-on experiences
• Save your preferences and visual history for future sessions
• Analyze app usage to improve performance and user experience
• Send critical account notifications and updates

• Image files are automatically deleted from temporary processing queues unless explicitly saved

Photos you save are linked to your user account and stored securely. You may delete them at any time.

With service providers: For cloud hosting, facial processing, analytics, and push notifications
With legal authorities: If required to comply with subpoenas, court orders, or applicable laws
With social platforms: If you explicitly choose to share a look externally

Services used may include Firebase, Mixpanel, or Sentry, all configured to comply with GDPR and CCPA.


7. Children’s Privacy

Glow Up does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verified parental consent. If we learn that we have collected data from a child without proper consent, we will delete that data promptly.

Parents or guardians can contact us at support@reelyai.com review or delete their child’s data.


8. GDPR (EU Users)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), the lawful bases for processing your data may include:

Consent: When you upload a photo or choose personalized settings
Contract: When you create an account or use app features
Legal obligation: When we must comply with EU law
Legitimate interest: To improve the app and ensure security (only where this doesn’t override your rights)

9. CCPA (California Users)
